This plugin makes Receive Links work with wordpress as a plugin with out having to modify the code of the site just activate the plugin
This plug in has the client code packaged with it and the code to work for a plugin with a widget.
If a widget is not use the plugin will include the client in the footer of the site.
Install
!! Note before installing make sure you have the site added to your account on receivelinks.com !!
Install from WordPress Plugin Directory
Go to plugin section on your WordPress admin panel
click "add new" button and search for "Receive Links"
You Should see Receive Links Plugin in the list
Click install
Download and Install:
Download the newest version of the ReceiveLinks plugin
go to your plugin section on your wordpress admin panel and click "Add New" select upload and click browse.
select the plugin you just donwloaded and click Install
If you have installed other plugins before this should not be any more difficult.
After installing the file you will need to activate the plugin.
Once the plugin is activated you should see a widget in the widget section of the Appearance secion of your WordPress Admin Panel
Just drag and drop that in to your side bar and you are ready to go
If you do not have a side bar then the plugin will automaticly include the client code in the footer of the site
So no need to worry about if all your pages have a side bar if not then the client will include in the footer
Once the plugin is installed on your wordpress site and activated be sure to make sure your Script Language for your site is set to Wordpress Plugin on Receive Links
You can check this by logging in and editing your site with the edit button for your domain on the manage sites pages.
Once that is set you should be able click the Check Setup button and see if you are setup correctly.
